发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ROUNDING GROOVE EDGE OF PLATE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable chamfering of constant quality without changing length and angle of chamfering according to changing thickness of the grinder belt by holding a plate-shaped work in a certain constant attitude and moving the corner for a certain distance along the grinder belt in the condition being pressed to the grinding surface. CONSTITUTION:Side wall 21 of a groove holds a pressing piece 18 in a certain attitude inclined a certain angle theta to the grinding surface of a grinder belt 136, and presses the corner to the grinding surface and moves for a certain distance for performing intended chamfering. Therefore, the margin is controlled by pressure and moving distance, and these factors are free of influence even though abrasive grains on the belt fall off to cause change in the thickness. Accordingly the chamfering length and angle do not change with changing thickness of the belt 136 to allow chamfering of constant quality at all times. The belt 136 is fed at a constant low speed, so that the chamfering accuracy will not be impaired by surface dullness.
