PURPOSE:To obtain logic compatibility with a 64kbit X 4<n> series by adopting a constitution so that a magnetic bubble memory element is formed as a 128kbit element and the form of its minor loop is of triplex folded structure. CONSTITUTION:For example, a 8Mbit element CHI uses 4-block constitution comprising four independent magnetic bubble memory elements CHI1, CHI2, CHI3 and CHI4 in the magnetic bubble memory element whose storage capacity is of 128kbit X 4<n>, and each magnetic bubble memory element has a storage capacity of 2Mbit, in which each minor loop m' has a triplex folded form. The number l' of minor loops of the magnetic bubble elements CHI1, CHI2, CHI3 and CHI4 is nearly 152 loops, the number n' of the minor loop bits is twice that of the case of 4Mbit elements and nearly 4,096 bits. Thus, the aspect ratio of the magnetic bubble memory elements CHI1, CHI2, CHI3 and CHI4 is 1:4 and the 8Mbit element having four elements has a shape close to a square.
