PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency to a parts testing apparatus, by controlling said apparatus so that a plurality of parts are set to each set and, when there is a set wherein a part of parts is not set, a test signal is sent to the other parts in said set. CONSTITUTION:Sets 4A, 4B are provided to a testing part 4 and parts 5A, 5B are set to the set 4A and parts 5C, 5D are set to the set 4B. A detection part 6 detects whether parts 5A-5D are set to the testing part 4 and sends a detection signal to a scanning part 7. The test signals from measuring parts 2A, 2B are applied to the testing part 4 by a change-over part 3 and, when the parts 5A-5D are set, the scanning part 7 turns contacts 3a, 3c ON by the first sequence to simultaneously test the parts 5B, 5C. When the testing of the parts 5A, 5C is finished, the scanning part 7 simultaneously test the parts 5A, 5D by the next sequence. For example, when only the parts 5A, 5D are set to the testing part 4 by the trouble of a parts feed mechanism, contacts 3a, 3d are turned ON to simultaneously test the parts 5A, 5D.
