PURPOSE:To realize a constitution of efficient and economical system utilizing effectively a limited memory space by providing incorporatedly a code register and an address comparison circuit on a chip formed with the titled device. CONSTITUTION:A static RAM is incorporated with a code register for storing a device code given to the said memory and a chip control (device selection) circuit CC including an address comparison circuit for comparing the content of the code register with a device code sent to high-order bits Ai+1-Aj of an address bus from a microprocessor MPU functioning as a bus master. Thus, the static RAM is connected directly to the microprocessor MPU without the intervention of an external device controller. Thus, any external device controller is not required and the economical and efficiency system constitution utilizing effectively a limited memory space is realized.
