PURPOSE:To facilitate handling and to improve workability, by a method wherein, in a grinder which moves a grinding stone in directions X, Y, and Z through a moving body, a support body for a grinding stone is mounted to the lower end of the moving body, and a control body and 3-way detector are situated to the support body. CONSTITUTION:By selecting a teaching mode, direction X and Y moving bodies 42 and 44 are unlocked by means of air cylinders 53 and 56. By unfastening a lock member 59, a support rod 36 is also unlocked. With this state, by inclining the support rod 36 arbitrarily in directions X and Y together with its underlaying grinding stone by means of a control lever 63, the moving bodies 42 and 44 are moved in the same direction. With the control lever 63 vertically rotated, an actuating pin 67 is vertically moved, signals is outputted from differential transformers 50, 46, and 69 according to a moving distance, a driving signal is outputted to each motor, and route data is stored in a RAM. By switching a device to a machining mode, a driving head is moved according to the memory for machining. |
