PURPOSE:To obtain an electric machine coil with a good fittability by applying a flexible insulation including organic tissue materials for insulating end portion heads and their vicinity projecting outward from a winding groove. CONSTITUTION:A flexible insulation including organic tissue materials is applied to coil end portion heads and their vicinity 5b projecting outward from a winding groove of electric machine coil 5 and thermoset into an integral body with an insulation applied to portions 5a other than said portions 5b. Said organic tissue materials are those each having a chemical planar structure and such materials as films each having a structure of any of polyamide, polyimide, polyester, polysulfone, polyolefin, polyphenylene, polyoxadiazole, polyesterimide and polyether are useful for said purpose.
