PURPOSE:To select a paging frequency and to communicate and receive a paging call by transmitting a testing signal with plural different paging frequencies, and changing over a tuning frequency to the frequency to be able to be detected with a testing signal by a pager when a disturbing electric wave appears. CONSTITUTION:When a pager 5 executes the tuning, for example, with a frequency f2 out of the always radiated tuning frequency, a testing code detected by a frequency testing circuit 7 through a tuning circuit 6 and a detecting circuit 11 because of the appearance of the disturbing electric wave can not be detected. After a changing-over instructing signal outputted by the frequency testing circuit 7 is received, a frequency changing-over circuit 8 outputs an instructing signal to the tuning circuit 6 so as to tune to the frequency to be able to be next tuned, for example, a transmitting frequency f3. Thus, the signal can stay at the frequency to be able to be always detected by the testing code, and when the frequency can not be detected, a tuning frequency can be successively changed over. When the frequency to be able to be detected by the testing code stably is found out, a paging call from a general subscriber enters a paging exchanging device 2 through an incoming trunk 1, and the transmitting of the data edited paging code is awiated. |
