PURPOSE:To prevent an image forming element from being stained without any deterioration in picture quality by providing plural plates which collect suspended toner moving in the rotating direction of a photosensitive body nearby the surface of the photosensitive body in front of the image forming element. CONSTITUTION:Toner is in convection on the surface of the photosensitive body 2 as shown by an arrow according to the rotation of the photosensitive body 2 and toner distant from the surface of the photosensitive body 2 is collected firstly by the 1st plate 4a. The remaining toner has its flow disturbed by the 2nd - the 4th plates 4b-4d to stick on those plates 4b-4d or is collected outside after passing among those plates. Further, the toner which is still not collected is guided in a collection direction by the 5th plate 4e and collected. A developing device 5 also cuts off the flow of the suspended toner, which flows backward toward the image forming element. Consequently, a plate 4f for dust protection is added even on the developing device side and then the image forming element is prevented further effectively from being stained. |
