PURPOSE:To make the entire device compact and thin by disposing a reading means at the lower space of a recording means. CONSTITUTION:Main rollers 24, 25 are disposed at the lower part maintaining the pressing and contact state required for carrying a paper with driven rollers 27, 28 maintaining a parallel relation, an original 13 is held by the main rollers 24, 25 and the rollers 27, 28 and carried substantially horizontally. The original 13 is guided along the part between guide plates 36, 37 in the direction opposite to a recording paper 14. In this manner, to the horizontally carried original, a spring restoration force is applied by the combination with an inclined discharge passage for reading, and the discharge with a reliability is performed with a simple constitution. Thereby, the reading means and the recording means are integrally mounted, the device is made compact and thin and the good reading and recording of the picture can be performed.
