摘要

PURPOSE:To compensate properly the frequency characteristic of a reproduced FM signal by detecting plural prescribed frequency levels of the reproduced FM signal and controlling a variable equalizer in response to the result of level comparison. CONSTITUTION:A signal having a frequency fs being the FM modulation of a horizontal synchronizing signal of the reproduced FM video signal and a signal having a frequency fc being the modulation of a chrominance signal at a low frequency via a variable equalizer are detected by an fs level detection circuit 2 and an fc level detection circuit 3 controlled via a control circuit 4 respectively. Then the equalizer 1 is controlled by a comparator 5 is response to the difference of both detection levels, the frequency characteristic of the reproduced FM signal is compensated properly and the excellent video signal reproduction is applied.
