A simplified universal time clock with a sloping globe axis is specified, a date-incrementing mechanism imitating the annual precession of the earth's axis and a clockwork attached in the hollow globe imitating with an hour staff, which is guided obliquely outwards, the daily rotation of the globe. Driving staff and hour staff are preferably at an angle of 23.5 DEG and are rigidly connected to each other via a bow. A circular graduation in the form of a zodiac section and/or month and day section is provided on a circular disc on the topside of the base. It is arranged fixedly on the base and cooperates with a rotatable hand which is connected to the driving staff of the date-incrementing mechanism.
