Bellows for articulated vehicles made of a coated fabric which is in the form of a tube which is arranged between two vehicles connected to each other in an articulated manner and has an essentially rectangular cross-section or a tunnel of corresponding cross-section. The bellows walls, which form the roof and optionally the floor of the bellows, are relatively soft in the particular wall plane, the bellows walls, which form the side walls of the bellows, are relatively stiff in the particular wall plane.
