Spoiler roof for vehicles having guide rails which are arranged on both sides of an aperture in the fixed roof and along which there is supported in a longitudinally displaceable manner the front part of a transparent lid; a drive element which can be displaced along each guide rail; a stroke drive device for raising and lowering the lid and for displacing the opened-out lid; panelling which is seated below the guide rails and bounds an inside aperture which is situated below the roof aperture; and a cover which is situated in front of the rear edge of the roof aperture and behind the inside aperture of the panelling and covers the front part of the fully-opened lid from below. Solar cells are arranged between the cover and the rear part of the lid in the fully-closed position. <IMAGE>
