摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the flicker even when a jumping scanning is performed by impressing a video signal to one line displaying liquid crystal cell and sequentially repeating the operation for impressing the potential except the video signal to a next jumped line and the operation for inverting the polarity on the same column every field. CONSTITUTION:In the first field, when the video signals 6, 16 are inputted to input terminals 1, 21, driving pulses phiv1, phiv2 are generated, and the video signals 6, 16 are alternately written in the direction of the line in the liquid crystal cells C11-C1m, C31-C3m ... connected to an odd number line. The constant direct current potentials 7, 17 are alternately written in the direction of the line in the liquid crystal cells C21-C2m, C41-C4m... connected to an even number line. In the second field, the phases of phi1V and phi2V are respectively reversed phases to the first field. Thus, the constant direct current potential is inputted to the jumped liquid crystal cell having no video signal and the driving is performed alternately by the normally fed video signal therewith, thereby, the flicker is not generated even when the jumping scanning is performed.
