PURPOSE:To permit the laying of a mat even in greatly deep water by a method in which a mat for preventing sliding movement is set between a structure and a supporting base, and an adhesive capsule provided between the structure and the mat is broken by the weight of the structure. CONSTITUTION:A structure is set through a mat made of asphalt, rubber, or synthetic resin on the bottom of a caisson dock. A capsule between the structure and the mat is broken by the load of the structure to integrally bond the structure with the mat. The structure is then towed to the open sea and settled at a desired site.
