PURPOSE:A green tea leaf washing apparatus, having a wavy bottom part, transversely reciprocating oblong green tea leaf washing tank, water sprinkling device for dust removal, green tea leaf washing net conveyor, water draining and transferring net conveyor, etc., and capable of completely removing volcanic ash, etc., from green tea leaves produced in volcanic areas. CONSTITUTION:A green tea leaf washing apparatus having a wavy bottom part 3, oblong green tea leaf washing tank 1, supported reciprocatively in the transverse direction and reciprocating by rotating disks 14 and lever bodies 16, green tea leaf charging hopper 5 provided at an opening part 4 above the starting end of the green tea leaf washing tank 1, green tea leaf washing net conveyor 7 in an elongated form from an opening part 6 at the end, water sprinkling device 8 for dust removal above the green tea leaf washing net conveyor 7, water draining and transferring net conveyor 9, provided below the green tea washing net conveyor 7 and having the starting end thereof positioned near the end of the green tea leaf washing net conveyor 7 and green tea leaf communicating plate 10 between both net conveyors 7 and 9.
