PURPOSE:To achive the simplification of an electrode structure and the improvement in the operability by engaging the member equipping the recessed part corresponding to the projection for positioning with the member providing the projection for positioning and projection for welding and by performing the pressure electrification via the projection for welding. CONSTITUTION:A flange 12 is subjected to a projection welding on the stator 11 of a stepping motor 11. The projections 13, 13, 14, 14 for welding are provided at four places of the surface on one part of the member 11 to be welded and the projections 14, 14 serve the projections 15, 15 for positioning as well. Recessed parts 16, 16 are formed at the position corresponding to the projections 15, 15 for positioning on the member 12 to be welded of the other part. In welding, the projection welding is performed with the pressuring electrification of the member 11, 12 by a flat electrode after abutting the projections 13, 13, 14, 14 to the member 12 by engaging the projection 15, 15 with the recessed part 16, 16 respectively. In this way the simplification of the electrode structure and improvement in the operability are achieved.
