PURPOSE:To ensure the durability and the strength of a resin shift lever holder by forming a guide face on the inner circumference at the tip of an arm section of the shift lever holder with a curved face having a specific radius. CONSTITUTION:A shift lever holder 1 is formed with a pair of arm sections 1b having through holes 1a to be engaged with the fulcrums of a shift lever 2 or the cylindrical projections 2c on a plate 1c thereof. In order to facilitate the insertion of the projections 2c through a pair of arm sections 1b into the through-hole 1a, a guide section le is formed on the inner circumferential face at the tip of said arm sections 1b. Said guide section 1e is formed with a curved face having a radius longer than that of the projection 2c and inclined from the tip toward the inner circumferential face 1d. Consequently, the projections 2c are positioned at the central side along the curved face (c) of the guide section 1e so as to facilitate the assembling while the volume at the hatched section (s) increases so as to improve the strength and the durability.
