PURPOSE:To provide a high-frequency heater capable of performing an output control of a high reliability by placing an air intake port of a guide for sucking air into a heating chamber so that it faces a part of a fan and discharging other air flow of the fan through an exhaust port porvided in the main body of the heater thereby to reduce the effect on the suction and exhaustion air quantities to and from the heating chamber. CONSTITUTION:A suction opening part 9 is provided on the side surface of a heating chamber 2. Air which has been sucked through a suction port 12 provided at the rear part of a main body 1 is introduced into a heating chamber 2 along a suction guide 13 via a suction opening part 9, and is blown to a sight window 8. A major part of air introduced passes through a an exhaust opening part 14 provided on the upper surface of the heating chamber 2, entering an exhaust path 17 formed by the main body 1, the upper surface of the heating chamber 2, and exhaust guides 15 and 16, passing through an exhaust port 18 and being exhaused. Since fresh air is constantly fed into an exhaust path 17, air including a signal indicating the heating condition of a material to be heated smooshly reaches a humidity sensor 19, and a response speed is increased and a correct humidity detection is performed.
