The present invention relates to a weather guard for loads and intended for single use, which weather guard covers the upper surface and the side surfaces of the load (2) and has fastening devices (5) for ropes (9) by means of which the weather guard (3) can be fastened on the load (2). Previously known weather-guard covers were normally fastened to the support of the load, such as to railway wagons and lorry platforms, it then being necessary to remove the weather guard for example when moving the load from one transportation means to another. The weather guard can be secured to the load itself if the fastening devices (5) for the ropes (9) are located in two rows (7, 8) which are spaced apart from each other and between which the ropes (9) extend. <IMAGE>
