An automatic sprinkler system for golf links and other sports grounds consists of a buried water main from which branch pipes rise at regular intervals and are coupled to short pipes carrying a sprinkler head flush with the soil surface. Pref. material for the pipes is polyethylene or polypropylene. They are connected by a telescopic joint with a centre, lower and upper ring which tightens the O-rings against the pipes. |
