PURPOSE:To make easy switching of focal length possible by simple constitution and prevent a camera from becoming large-size by moving a part of optical members of a photographing system in the direction at right angles to the photographing optical axis. CONSTITUTION:Switching from the standard photographing state to the telescopic photographing state is made by positioning the optic axis of the main lens system 1 on the front optic axis of the auxiliary lens system 2 by moving a lens housing having the first optical member in the direction of arrow mark A. In telescopic photographing, luminous flux from a subject 20 is incident on the main lens system 1 is reflected by the first reflecting mirror 3 and the second reflecting mirror 4 through a shutter 5 and the auxiliary lens system 2 and led to a photosensitive face 6. Thereby, it becomes unnecessary to make the space between a spool chamber and a cartridge chamber large, and accordingly, the camera body can be prevented from becoming long in lateral direction, and the camera can be prevented from becoming large-size.
