PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator and to avoid the misconfirmation due to the incomplete designation by confirming automatically both the constitution state and working state of a self-diagnosis system via a diagnosis program. CONSTITUTION:A diagnosis program controller 12 is loaded into a memory by an initial program loader and the control operation is transferred to the controller 12. The controller 12 loads a diagnosis initialization program 13 and a constitution table 14 and transfers the control to the program 13. The program 13 refers to the table 14 and reads an additional mechanism connecting flag and the status information on the peripheral devices out of a processor based on the information on the additional mechanism registered on the table 14 as well as the device and unit numbers of the peripheral devices. The result of said reading operation is registered on the table 14. |
