PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy manufacturing process of a piezoelectric ceramic resonator by integrally forming a piezoelectric element, two electrode plates and a tube in one body and then attaching this monolithic structure to a nailhead in a manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 10a and 10b are set on both sides of a piezoelectric porcelain 9 for production of a piezoelectric element 11. Then electrode plates 12 and 13, e.g., gold-plated plates, etc., are put on both sides of the element 11. These set plates 12 and 13 are covered with a cylindrical tube having heat- shrinkable properties or a tube of silicone rubber, etc. Thus both plates 12 and 13, the element 11 and said tube are integrated with application of heat in case of the tube having the heat-shrinkable properties. In such a constitution, said integrated material can be attached to a nailhead 16 attached to the tip of a lead wire 15 in a manufacturing process. Thus the production of the element 11 is simplified and furthermore undesired vibrations are suppressed since the element 11 is covered with the elastic tube 14.
