PURPOSE:To reduce noise generated by rapid variation of potential at the secondary terminal, by a method wherein the winding of a saturable reactor is divided in two. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic amplifier type switching regulator is constituted by coupling DC power source 3 and a MOSFET 4 to a primary winding 2 of a transformer 1, and voltage between output terminals 11-12 is supplied between a saturable reactor 6 and a rectifier diode through an error detecting circuit 13-17 thereby output voltage is held constant. In this case, the saturable reactor 6 is constituted by winding two windings 6a, 6b on the same core, and one winding 6a is inserted between positive end M of a transformer 5 and anode of a diode 7 and other winding 6b is inserted between negative end Y of the transformer 5 and anode of a diode 8, and respective windings 6a, 6b are wound in direction so that the voltage-time product is added. Thereby noise voltage can be suppressed well.
