PURPOSE:To lighten the thermal damage on the recirculation of EGR gas by forming a suction pie in division from the resin pipes connected with a surge tank and the metal pipes connected with a cylinder head and installing an EGR valve in the vicinity of the joint part between the both pipes under the surge tank. CONSTITUTION:An intake device is equipped with a surge tank 1 for suppressing the pulsation of intake and a suction pipe 2 which communicates to the surge tank 1 and extends to the cylinder side. In this case, the suction pipe 2 is formed in division from the resin pipes in the corresponding number to the cylinders which extend into nearly C-figure from continuously to the surge tank 1 and the metal pipes 5 in the corresponding number to the cylinders which are connected with a cylinder head 4. An EGR valve 19 is arranged in the vicinity of the connection part between the resin pipe 3 and the metal pipe 5 under the center part in the longitudinal direction of the surge tank 11. Further, an EGR passage 23 in an EGR pipe 22 formed integrally with an intake manifold 10 is extended to the upstream side, and the upper edge of an EGR passage 24 communicating to the extended EGR passage 23 is allowed to communicate to the surge tank 1, etc. |
