PURPOSE:To minimize the HETP of the titled device and to maximize the component separation length by using a packing material having the typical length 1/5-1/8 the column diameter in the column having 8-25mm diameter in the title rectifying device for a non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant consisting of fluorohydrocarbon. CONSTITUTION:The component separation unit of a mixed refrigerant used for a heat pump device consists of a rectifying device 1, a cooler 2, a top reservoir 3, a return pipeline 4, a heater connecting pipeline 5 for connecting the component separation unit to the main cycle, and a condenser connecting pipeline 6. In such case, a packing material having the typical length about 1/5-1/8 the diameter of the rectifying device 1 having about 8-25mm diameter is used, when the non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant consisting of fluorohydrocarbons is rectified and separated in the rectifying device 1. Consequently, the HETP is almost minimized, the component separation length can be almost maximized, and hence the height of the packed bed necessary for obtaining the same performance can be reduced.
