摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of air-fuel ratio control, by causing a feedback control constant for calculating an air-fuel ratio correction coefficient, to differ depending on the magnitude of an aimed air-fuel ratio determined depending on the state of operation of an engine. CONSTITUTION:In the operation of an internal combustion engine A, the fed quantity of fuel is determined by a determination means B depending on the state of the operation and corrected by a correction means C to serve to control the fuel for the engine. An aimed air-fuel ratio is found out by a determination means E depending on the state of the operation of the engine A. An air-fuel ratio correction coefficient is calculated by a calculation means F from a feedback control constant and the difference between the aimed air-fuel ratio and the actual air-fuel ratio detected by an air-fuel ratio detection means D. The actual air-fuel ratio is corrected by the correction means C through the use of the air-fuel ratio correction coefficient. An aimed air-fuel ratio judgment means G for finding out the magnitude of the aimed air-fuel ratio is provided. The feedback control constant is set at a different value by a constant alternation means H depending on the result of the finding-out.
