PURPOSE:To easily and quickly provide illegibility to a confidential document with a device having high durability and low noise by coating an adhesive agent on the entire front and rear surface of the document thrown through a throwing port and taking up the document. CONSTITUTION:The adhesive agent is coated over the entire front and rear surfaces of the document 13 thrown through the throwing port 8 by adhesive agent coating rollers 9 and thereafter, the document is taken up by a take-up roller 10. The document 13 is, therefore, held solidified by the adhesive agent and is illegible when the document is taken out via a paper tube 11. This device is durable, and inexpensive, permits speeding up, and has low noise, lightweightness and stability. The illegibility is thus inexpensively and quickly imparted to the confidential document.
