PURPOSE:To render a magnetic toner easily releasable from a nonmagnetic sleeve by locating a magnetic toner in the position covering a line joining the center of a photosensitive drum and the center of a magnet roller. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic force line issues from a magnet roller 4 and penetrates a nonmagnetic sleeve 5 and captures a nonmagnetic toner 7 at the surface of the sleeve 5. When the roller 4 rotates clockwise, the toner 7 vermiculates anticlockwise on the surface of the sleeve 5. Meanwhile, the toner 7 is triboelectrified negatively. When the toner 7 moved with the roller 4 reaches the magnetic member 6 of the nonmagnetic sleeve 5, since the magnetic force from the roller 4 is weak there, the toner 7 becomes easily releasable from the sleeve 5 and it is attracted to the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 by Coulomb's force. |
