PURPOSE:To simplify the inspection of a water leakage, by mounting a threaded outlet on the downstream of a main stopcock provided on a water pipe for supply to the user's side through a test cock to facilitate the connection of a water pressure meter. CONSTITUTION:To inspect a water leakage on the user's side 4 receiving the supply of tap water through a main stopcock 2 and a water pipe 3 from the water source side 1, an outlet 6 is provided on the downstream of the main stopcock 2 through a test cock 5. The outlet 6 is provided with a thread 6a to connect a water pressure meter 7 having a thread joint 7a thereto detachably. Before the reading of the water meter 7 following the closure of the main stopcock 2, stopcocks 8 on the user's side 4 are all closed. An output of the water meter 7 is indicated and read on an indicator 9 and on the basis of the output of the water meter thus read, namely, the water pressure on the user's side 4 at the start of the inspection, a comparative water pressure value is set on a comparative water pressure setter 10. Then, a testing time is set for a timer 11, considering the length of a piping or the like on the user's side.
