PURPOSE:To secure the satisfactory time margin even to a fast clock and to ensure the stable working of a timing signal generating device, by using a shaft register. CONSTITUTION:A shift counter 10 shift successively the detection pulses CDa of a count detector 3 according to a clock CL common to the clock applied to a counter 1. The prescribed signals are applied to the counter 1 from the register 10 as the loading signal LD to load the preset data and the control signal CS to perform various types of control caused by the loading actions. At the same time, the prescribed bit signals SRa-SRc are applied to pulse generating circuits 6-8 as the triggers to start these circuits 6-8. Thus the loading action and its controllable section for the preset data given to the counter 1 from a memory 2 are limited within a period between a time point t2 right after the pulse CDa is outputted from the detector 3 and a time point t5 when a down-counting action is started according to the next preset data. |
