PURPOSE:To exactly detect the abnormal operation of a stepping motor, by time-monitoring voltage fed to the winding of the stepping motor, through a timer circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a stepping motor is normally rotated, then the ON/OFF working of rotary state signal 105 is repeated, and so a timer circuit 303 is reset within a timer time T, and timer circuit output signal 304 is not turned ON. On the abnormal operation of the stepping motor, namely, on the poor rotation, the stepping motor rotary-state signal 105 is continuously kept in an OFF-state, and when output voltage detection signal 219 is in an ON-state, then the output signal 304 of the timer circuit 303 is turned ON after the lapse of a given time T, and an abnormal state is noticed. |
