PURPOSE:To need no circuit and signal for exclusive use when rock-driving current is fed to a pulse motor, by setting the pulse of quick cycle to be the rock-driving current of the pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:By the upper device 1 of a thermal copy printer 5, letters and the like are printed. By a control means 6, the whole thermal copy printer 5 is controlled based on printed letter data fed by the the upper device 1, and letter-printing work is executed, and the rock-driving current feed of a pulse motor is controlled. Besides, by the control means 6, the pulse of quick cycle obtained when the pulse motor is driven by modulation is fed as the rock-driving current of the pulse motor. On the start of the pulse motor, pulse width is set to be long so that an exciting time may be set to be long, and as rotational frequency is increased, the pulse width is controlled to be short. Also when the motor is stopped, then the exciting time is made to be long gradually and the rotational frequency is controlled to be reduced. |
