PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body sharp in electrifiability and good in sensitivity by incorporating a specified compound in a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The photosenstive layer formed on the conductive substrate contains one of the compounds represented by formula I in which R1 is alkyl; and each of R2 and R3 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, alkoxycarbonyl, or substituted amino. Preferable ones among the compounds of formula I are represented by formulae II and III in which each of R4 and R5 is H or methyl; one of R6 and R7 is >=2C alkyl and the other is H, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, alkoxycarbonyl, or substituted amino. |
