PURPOSE:To enable accurate inspection of the condition of the inner wall of a pipeline after a lining treatment, by a method wherein an inspecting device is fastened at the rear end of a tension cord to be drawn into the pipeline and then moved by manipulating the tension cord. CONSTITUTION:When carrying out an inspection, first, a pneumatic element 2 is inserted into one side opening of a tube 1 to be treated divided properly. The pneumatic element 2 is made up of an elastic material such as synthetic resin and rubber changes in the form properly according to the sectional shape of the pipeline to be formed into a cup in such a manner to be kept airtight with the wall surface of the pipeline. Upon the end of the insertion of the pneumatic element 2, a carrier gas 5 is fed from a compressor or the like and forces the pneumatic element 2 forward to be sent outside at the other side opening of the pipeline. After a tension cord 3 is inserted, an inspector 6 is fastened to the tip thereof 3 and the cord 3 is wound up to a winder 4 to draw the inspector 6 into the pipeline. Sequential movement of the inspector with the pull cord enables accurate inspection of the inner wall surface as a whole. |
