PURPOSE:To improve the forming flexibility of a language processing system by using an intermediate source program file, a record output means containing the control byte, and a record input means containing the control byte. CONSTITUTION:A preprocessor 1 contains a record output means 2 with control byte and produces the control byte information 3 and the record main body information 4 as the input information to the means 2. While a post-processor 21 contains a record input means 22 with control byte and uses the control byte information 23 and the record main body information 24 as the output information given from the means 22. An intermediate source program file 11 stores all information which are transferred between both processors 1 and 21. Thus it is possible to process the record transferred between both processors as a record containing the control byte.
