PURPOSE:To efficiently eliminate or decrease drain water by executing a treatment stage by a combination of an immersing method and spraying method and replenshing the moisture decreased in the respective zones from the succeeding stages. CONSTITUTION:A spray system is incorporated to the whole or part of the respective zones 1-5 of a degreasing stage and combinations of immerzing zones 6-8 and spray zones 9, 10 are used for a chemical conversion treatment stage for films. The moisture evaporated by spraying in the degreasing stage is discharged through a discharge pipe 12 and the liquid formed by a gas-liquid sepn. 1E is returned to the respective degreasing zones. Substd. washing and spraying mechanisms 2R-10R substitute and spray the washing water or fresh water of the succeeding stages to the previous stages through water feed pipes 2V-10V. An evaporation chamber S is provided to the chemical conversion treatment stage for the films and a liquid chemical is sprayed. The evaporated moisture is discharged and the liquid after the gas-liquid sepn. is returned to the chemical conversion treatment zone or evaporating chamber 1. The moisture deficient in the respective zones is successively replenished from the succeeding stages according to the above-mentioned mechanism.
