<p>A wafer handling arm is formed of four pieces mounted on two concentric drive shafts. One piece is much smaller than the other three. The arm can be folded into a small space and avoids pulleys and gears. The control permitted with two independent drive shafts has the advantage that the tip of the arm holding the workpiece can be moved in a complex programmed trajectory.</p> |
