<p>The instrument consists essentially of a chassis (1) connected to a tractor by means of a three-point linkage (2). A row of teeth (4) is fixed to this linkage by means of a shaft (3). The teeth work between discs (5) fixed by means of coupling rings (13) onto a shaft (6) connected to the chassis (1) by arms (7) and a shaft (8). This also provides for the attachment and articulation of the roller-carrying arms (9), thus ensuring, through a tie-rod (10) of adjustable length, the earthing-up and rolling-out of the ground by a roller (11). The vertical adjustment of the rotor is carried out by means of a flying buttress (12) of adjustable length and fitted with a shock absorber. The roller-carrying arms (9) support a levelling and raking grid (14) which can be adjusted in distance and position. The disc-carrying shaft (6) is driven in rotation by the power take-off from the tractor. <IMAGE></p> |
