发明名称 CONTROL DEVICE FOR AXIAL CENTER OF SPINDLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the precise control of the axial center position of a spindle for a machine tool by providing a spindle displacement sensor at each position of the fore and the aft ends of the spindle, and actuating a spindle unit shift means on the basis of signals from said sensor. CONSTITUTION:When dynamic pressure has been generated between a spindle 11 and static pressure bearings 12-14 and the axial center of the spindle 11 has given a change with a fluctuation in the number of revolutions thereof, displacements in 'X' and 'Y' directions at the fore and the aft ends of the spindle 11 are respectively detected by four sensors 1 and the displacement of the axial center and the inclination thereof are obtained by a correction controller 3. And this controller 3 gives a spindle unit fine shift means 2 a correction control signal corresponding to displacement from an original axial center, on the basis of the displacement and the inclination as obtained, and returns the axial center of the spindle 11 to the original position. According to the aforesaid constitution, the axial center position of the spindle 11 can be properly controlled and especially the application of the constitution to a correction device for spindle center enables the correction of an axial center position highly precisely.
