PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering or dripping of fine particles to a peripheral part by uniformly adhering said fine particles to the surface of paper, by adhering a liquid containing powdery fine particles to the surface of the paper and subsequently evaporating said liquid to fix the fine particles to the surface of the paper. CONSTITUTION:A liquid prepared by adding powdery fine particles comprising polymethyl methacrylate to water is sent to a dry fog nozzle 3 and formed into an aerosol by air from an air compressor while the aerosol is supplied to printing paper 1 from a mist chamber 2 and further dried by a heater part 8 to evaporate moisture to fix the powdery fine particles to the surface of the paper 1. Because the aerosol is formed, the adhesion of the fine particles to the surface of the paper becomes uniform and the scattering of the fine particles to a peripheral part is also prevented.
