PURPOSE:To reduce a DC component incident on a photodetector to an extent where there is no influence upon measurement by forming a conic hole in a stopper. CONSTITUTION:The stopper 10 which has an opening toward a flow cell 1 is located as shown in a figure (a) and the conic hole 10a shown in a figure (b) is formed in the stopper 10. Then, the internal surface of the hole 10a is coated with a black paint with a low reflection factor and then an incident light beam L1 entering the hole 10a is attenuated greatly even if the light is reflected and emitted to the outside, so there is no adverse influence upon the light signal.
