PURPOSE:To extract efficiently plural sheets of drawing information from plural sheets of drawing information to be displayed by using a gradation conversion table for editing which contains selection information and density information. CONSTITUTION:The gradation conversion table 3 for editing is constituted by writing the maximum density corresponding to sections when A, D, E, and F in a selection table 1 are 1 respectively in addresses represented by 8-bit information when A is the most significant digit bit. For example, an address 3 displays neither drawing information G nor H, so the density is 0, but an address 4 indicates that output density 1 when only drawing information F is present, an address 7 indicates that output density is 1 when F, G, and H are all 1, and an address 12 indicates that output density is 2 in matching with high-density E when E and F are 1. For the purpose, respective picture elements of pieces of input drawing information A-H are converted into 8-bit information by using the gradation conversion table 3 for editing, and the density is obtained in correspondence to the states of picture elements A, D, E, and F among A-H. |
