PURPOSE:To take out a retrieved picture in keeping high picture quality by retrieving an analog picture, selecting a desired picture and outputting a corresponding digital picture from a digital picture part. CONSTITUTION:An analog disk file 1 has an optional video signal retrieved by a controller 2 and observed by a monitor TV3. In the ten sets of the digital disk files 4-6, the same video signal as the file 1 is digitally recorded. a recording picture corresponding to the display picture of the TV 3 is reproduced from the files 4-6, transferred to a frame memory 9 and reproduced in a monitor TV 7.
