PURPOSE:To obtain the copy image of designated magnification with an optional position in the original document scanning direction as the center based on this position by providing a reference position setting means which sets an optional length from the front end of an original document to the reference position. CONSTITUTION:When the length from the front end position of the original document to the reference position is denoted as L, the copy image of magnification M is obtained based on the position of a length L distant from the front end position of a form, and a principal part of the original document is copied on the form. The image loss is generated in the front end part of an area to be trimmed on a condition lM>L. In this case, the reference position is moved in such direction that the front end of the area to be trimmed is matched to the front end of the form, thereby preventing the image loss. The image loss is generated in the rear end part of the area to be trimmed on a condition lM>K. In this case, the reference position is moved in such direction that the rear end of the area to be trimmed is matched to the rear end of the form, thereby preventing the image loss. |
