<p>PURPOSE:To enable a roll to be decreased even if an irregular side wave is received to a ship when it is drifting, by pivotally mounting a pair of right and left hydraulic cylinders turnably in a lateral vertical surface by supporting means, provided in right and left ship side upper parts, and providing said hydraulic cylinders, which protrusively provide buoyant bodies in the bottom ends, while a control means. CONSTITUTION:When a ship 7 receives a side wave Wl, the ship, if its supporting arms 3, 3 are restricted, submerges a buoyant body 1 in the side wave receiving side because of large inertia, and buoyancy of said buoyant body 1, increasing to act on the ship 7 as tilting moment, performs action bringing down the ship 7. Then supporting arm turning devices 4 are left as free by a buoyant body control unit 9 on the basis of a tilt of the ship. If the above control is performed, the buoyant bodies 1, 1 perform a follow-up movement to the respective side waves Wl being prevented from sinking, accordingly, no tilting moment acts because of no increase of the buoyancy of the buoyant body 1, and no action of bringing down the ship 7 is performed. Accordingly, a roll can be reduced.</p> |
