PURPOSE:To improve the transmission and reception speed of data by allowing a communication control equipment which is connected to a host processor and transmits and receives data according to channel commands (CCW) supplied from the host processor to hold plural channel commands. CONSTITUTION:This control equipment consists of a communication control part 2 which controls the transmission and reception of data according to channel commands inputted from the host processor 1, a channel command word holding part 3 which holds a specific number of channel commands, and a channel command word fetch control part 4 which fetches channel command words from the host processor 1 so that the number of channel command words held at the channel command holding part 3 does not exceeds a specific number. Thus, plural channel command words are held at the channel command word holding part 3 and several channel commands are pre-fetched to prevent the transmission and reception of data from being interrupted owing to the fetch of channel command words. |
