PURPOSE:To obtain a recording apparatus always performing printing with constant quality, by arranging a small smooth projection having the almost the same length as a distance enabling the arrival of ink in close vicinity to a filmy member. CONSTITUTION:Small smooth projections 21, 22 having low friction coefficient polyimide are formed to the heat non-generating part of a thermal head 1. A film 2 having a large number of fine pores or fine recessed parts are arranged to the heat generating part of the thermal head 1 so as to be closely contacted therewith. A printing head part 15 is contacted with a paper 3 at the projection parts of globules 7, 8 provided thereto and a definite distance is always held between the film 2 and the paper 3 by the heights of the projection parts even with respect to the movement of the printing head part 15 and the paper 3. Therefore, by setting the heights of the small projection parts 21, 22 so as to make each of them almost equal to an ink jet distance, the variation in the density of printing or the direct adhesion of the ink to the paper 3 can be prevented. |
