PURPOSE:To improve the operatively of a terminal equipment by modifying information on the master/slave relation among terminal equipment which are stored according to an external instruction. CONSTITUTION:A selecting means 5 instructs the switching of a terminal equipment 1-1 to a switching means 6 at the time of switching a logical connection from the information processing subsystem 2-1 of the terminal equipment 10-1 to an information processing subsystem 2-2 by the instruction of a terminal operator. Then, the master/slave relation information stored in a registering means 3 is referred to and the terminal equipment 1-1 is registered as a master terminal in the information, so information regarding slave terminals is retrieved to select a terminal equipment 1-2 as the slave terminal of the terminal equipment 1-1, thereby instructing the switching of the logical connection of the terminal equipment 1-2 to the switching means 6 associatively with the switching of the logical connection from the information processing subsystem 2-1 of the terminal equipment 10-1 to the information processing subsystem 2-2. The switching means 6 switches the terminal equipment 1-2 selected by the selecting means 5 after the switching of the terminal equipment 1-1. |
